Our Biblical Foundation

Rooted in Christ. Grounded in Scripture.

Rooted & Faithful stands within historic biblical Christianity. Our teaching is not a new system or a substitute for Scripture, but an effort to help people know Jesus Christ, engage God’s Word, depend upon the Holy Spirit, participate in the local church, and live faithfully before God.

Our Foundation

God has made Himself known through creation, His Word, and supremely through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells the unfolding story of creation, sin, redemption, and restoration, centered upon Christ. Every belief, resource, and ministry practice must remain under Scripture’s authority.

The Bible

The Bible is inspired by God, trustworthy, authoritative, and the final standard for faith and life.

The Triune God

There is one true and living God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God the Father

God the Father is holy, loving, wise, just, merciful, faithful, sovereign, and worthy of worship and trust.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, lived without sin, died for sinners, rose bodily, reigns as Lord, and is the only Savior and mediator.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit gives new life, dwells within believers, teaches, convicts, comforts, guides, empowers, and forms Christlike character.

Humanity, Purpose, and Sin

Every person is created in God’s image with dignity and worth. God gives people abilities, relationships, experiences, and opportunities to use for good, and our deepest purpose is found in knowing, loving, and honoring Him. Yet all have sinned, chosen our own way, and need God’s grace.

Salvation

Salvation is God’s gift of mercy and grace, received by turning to Jesus Christ and trusting Him as Savior and Lord. It cannot be earned through effort, religion, or good works. In Christ we are forgiven, brought back to God, made new, and given eternal life.

Christ Our Good Shepherd

Jesus cares personally and faithfully for those who belong to Him. He laid down His life for His people, leads them, stays with them, and holds them securely. Our hope rests in what Christ has done and in His faithful care—not in our ability to be perfect.

The Christian Life

The Christian life is a lifelong response to grace, marked by abiding in Christ, obedience, prayer, Scripture, worship, community, service, witness, perseverance, and growing Christlikeness.

Faithful Stewardship

Everything belongs to God. We receive life as a gift and offer our time, relationships, work, resources, influence, suffering, opportunities, and calling back to Him in worship.

Truth and Love

Biblical truth and Christlike love belong together in every relationship and conversation.

The Church

The Church is Christ’s body and God’s life-giving community for worship, teaching, fellowship, prayer, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, pastoral care, service, and mission.

Prayer

Prayer is essential communion with God, expressing worship, confession, gratitude, dependence, listening, intercession, surrender, and trust.

Christ’s Return and Eternal Hope

Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. There will be bodily resurrection, final judgment, and the fulfillment of God’s promised new creation.

Ministry Convictions

  • Jesus Christ remains the source, center, and destination of every resource.
  • Scripture must be read carefully and in context and remains the final authority.
  • True transformation belongs to God through the Holy Spirit.
  • Prayer and the local church are essential to faithful discipleship.
  • Resources and technology must remain servants and must not replace God, His Word, His Spirit, pastoral care, wise relationships, or appropriate professional help.
  • Secondary questions should be approached with biblical conviction, humility, patience, and charity.

A Word to Those Exploring

If you are exploring Christianity, uncertain what you believe, returning to faith, or carrying honest questions, you are welcome here. Begin with Jesus Christ, examine the Scriptures, and consider speaking with a mature Christian or trusted local church.

Our Continuing Commitment

Rooted & Faithful commits to keep every book, companion, article, reflection, and future resource under the authority of Scripture. When correction is needed, we will seek to respond with humility and faithfulness.

Our goal is never dependence upon this ministry, but deeper dependence upon Christ.

Jesus Christ remains our source, center, and destination.

Receive Christ. Reflect Christ.
