Be Faithful With What Is Before You

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” —Colossians 3:23 ESV

RECEIVE

Following Jesus changes ordinary life. Work can become worship. Service can become love. Responsibilities can become places where faithfulness is quietly lived before Christ. Nothing entrusted to us is too ordinary to be offered back to Him.

REFLECT

We often imagine faithfulness in large decisions or visible accomplishments. More often, it is formed through the task, person, responsibility, or opportunity already before us. God has placed each of us in a particular time with particular gifts and relationships. The measure is not recognition or worldly success, but faithful obedience to Christ.

RESPOND

Look at what is directly before you today. Choose one task or responsibility you might normally rush, resent, or overlook. Receive it as something entrusted by God and do it with care, gratitude, and love.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, help me live every part of this day before You. Keep me from measuring my life by recognition or results. Give me faithfulness in ordinary moments, and let the work of my hands become an offering of worship. Amen.

Receive Christ. Reflect Christ.
