Trust God With What You Cannot See

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” —Proverbs 3:5 ESV

RECEIVE

God’s trustworthiness is rooted in His perfect character. He is faithful, wise, good, and unchanging. We may not understand what He is doing, but we can entrust ourselves to the One whose understanding has no limit and whose love does not fail.

REFLECT

Uncertainty often tempts us to search for control. We replay possibilities, lean heavily on our own understanding, or wait for complete clarity before obeying. Yet trust does not require us to see the whole path. It asks us to place the next step before God and acknowledge Him there. What is hidden from us is never hidden from Him.

RESPOND

Identify one uncertainty you have been trying to solve entirely on your own. Tell God what you fear and what you hope for. Ask Him for wisdom, then choose the next faithful action that is already clear.

PRAYER

Father, You see what I cannot see and know what I cannot know. Help me trust Your character when I do not understand my circumstances. Direct my path and give me courage to follow You one faithful step at a time. Amen.
